Wilton Horse Trials

First of all welcome to our brand new website! This has been a long time in the making and now its here we are very excited. All our contact details and information will be on here, including regular news updates. This will consist of all the latest scientific research and how it is relevant to you and your animals. There are links to our social media pages where you can follow what Polgreen Physiotherapy is up to on a daily basis, including competitions. The website will also feature any up and coming events…

Megan will be at Wilton Horse Trials, near Salisbury all this weekend (28th-29th July). With a background in eventing this is one of Megan’s favourite local events. The most amazing thing about eventing is you can come and see some of the most prestigious riders competing at lower levels. The atmosphere is always buzzing and friendly too, not to mention the amazingly talented horses. All these competitors are great for rider analysis and watching all the horses movement patterns. (Force of habit being a human and equine physiotherapist!).

Megan will be offering free advice and information and be there to answer any questions you might have about physio, your horse, dog and yourself. Alongside this there will be a FREE raffle for an equine or canine physiotherapy session which anyone can enter!! There will also be 10% off vouchers available. If you are feeling strong and stable Megan will have various pieces of equipment available from her rider Pilates classes for you to test out your balance and stability. A bit of fun but a vitally important topic for riders and for their horses. Good balance and stability not only helps your horses performance and will get you higher marks, it can also help you stay on board should your horse spook or loose their balance.  Our stand will be in with Wylye Valley Equine and Catherine Baker, local and very experienced SMS saddler. We look forward to seeing you all there. Best of luck to all those competing. 🙂
